UrieWProd's News

Finished and completely formatted my RPG series' first game's book. Now, I just jumped back into Stencyl with Godot logic and an actual hands-on approach of art styles I found for the actual game's development.

Now I'm focusing on something top secret while coding the game for the funds.

Finished the details of the 4 boss fights before one of the final bosses and the details of the final bosses before the very last one in my RPG series' first game's book. Nearly all the dialogue is finished in the book, all I need to do is format it after finishing it. Thank gosh, that pirate's dead. Now, one more...

On the other hand, all my Dave and Buster's NFTs' worths have been erased. Now, I'm selling all of them in price countdown auctions at opensea marking them down by day automatically until they're sold at <200MATIC! My username is Urie W there.

I'm planning on getting a job to cover expenses. A response from rev.com is way too long. Tried to get a job at church until mom stopped me upon it being filled as the culprit. If only I can learn to sell art....

First:

Happy New Year!!!

Now the Bad news, first:

I finally moved from Stencyl to Godot, because while coding with Python, I figured that I needed all the flexibility I can't get for my projects and even though Stencyl has a community with a few well-rounded gurus of all code, it wouldn't achieve that for larger scale projects. Choosing between GLES formats will be tough, because 2 is friendlier than a piece of next-gen hardware though it sucks while Godot transitions from both. *facepalm*

Onto the good news!

I finished the missing chapter and an extra chapter I added to my RPG series' first game's book, now I'm almost done adding fight content of all the bosses in the entire book and finishing its story's conversations. Currently working on its 'four horsemen' to the final bosses. Assessed all expenses for it and made my company's logo text in Inkscape. Now, I need to setup streaming software, animation software, and DAWs(I got the most perfect tracks thought up, to date!). I also split up my master docs, just not all of them.

Cleaned house on my DeviantArt art stache. Planning to head to Newgrounds for the same reason, as my art had no watermarks on either, though it all can be postmarked.

I'm getting ready for the rebranding phase as well as the professional artist/company owner route. New submissions will get many watermarks the next time they are posted, so nothing but text updates will be posted until I debut my new look.

Meanwhile, I'm selling my Dave and Buster's NFT collection on https://opensea.io/UrieW , though I'm out of that biz. I redeemed my DNB Points for them before the Ethereum merge and kept them afterward, okay? Don't judge me, as soon as they're gone I'm never focusing on that again and focusing straight on more of my REAL art and company sales! I'm just getting rid of a collection of stuff I earned for free.

Update(10/23/2022): Whoops! This should have not appeared.

The old Bugg It. Demo(Fly Hunter Demo) was left published on NG. It's now unpublished.

Left Kongregate, as they turned into something else. The game's demo won't be released for it.

On the topside, I'm finding my art style without looking into the major detail of other's styles, as I think others did that too. For the music, I finally found a reason to stay in my lane when making my tracks as the originality skyrocketed at the beginning of my music journey. And for the code, my big brother is pushing me to use python which can help me understand C# and later C++, while I heard from many devs that if you start coding in 2D from scratch, it will be the greatest thing since sliced bread, making it portable and formidable in 3D when mastered.

I've been reading bible scriptures left and right during all of it, and they improved my life and its outlook.

It's all coming together, for me...

Update #1:

UPDATE(7/25/22): Me and my little brother are one year older. As I 'homeschool' myself, I looked at the untouched state of my projects, and thought, "This wasn't the stuff I had in mind!" So, I'm going to overhaul nearly EVERYTHING about them to fit the new piles of notes I invented.

Update #2:

Update(9/11/22): Took time off from the project to train my brain on more math and spelling and wrote a book on one of the game's sibling projects in order to fund myself. Finished writing the entire story, but putting on plenty of touches.

Meanwhile, company plans are doing great, as I learned to start everything little by little and to try my best not to become the one-man band if I want to make one.

I'm getting the energy to tackle the revamp of this game.

Update(4/1/2022): Changed the content of the Stencyl forums post and Fly Hunter a little to represent the game series and enemies' new names. Also stated that the old links in the info are old. Shortened the length of the text on the game's NG post and made way for the dev log link. Almost finished the story of my first original RPG series' first game using some of its characters. Off to work on it!

Edit: WARNING!!!! I'M WORKING ON THE HTML5 VERSION!!!!! IF THE GAME DOES NOT WORK ON THE SITE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!!! THANK YOU AND ALL THOSE WHO PLAYED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update(1/19/2022): Really thought about it. Although I am going to make the game easier on the eyes and more tutorial-friendly as well as revamp the code to make it look very fine, I gave it a new name, to commemorate its initial experience: driving somebody up the wall and raging against the screen over enemies that are hard to beat so bad, you'd curse!

So, look out for the new name as the bugs will be no longer just bugs without an extra [censored for dev reasons] in more ways than one! Yeehaw!

Update(12/15/2021): After much running into a brick wall over being generous with my ideas very much I decided to rename a few of my projects and de-reference as many inspirations as I can just use music only music with royalties only to me. We Never Sleep and the Fly Hunter Series will be renamed, with both of their music removed and changed. The game lineup’s overhaul is still near.
